Backward Math was created by me, Casey von Neumann. I'm the founder of Eclectic Music and The Little Middle School.

With my degree in music education, you might think that I have no business putting together a math program. But my outsider status affords me a different perspective on elementary and middle school mathematics. In my work with my math students, I am able to come up with unconventional approaches and solutions that really work. Math educators and parents from all over the world seek out my worksheets and materials. Not bad for a piano teacher.
